All this within a half mile radius of the Dalebrook London Showroom, based in the heart of the London food scene. So, taking our local food knowledge and exploring it with our customers has now become a reality.
‘Foraging with Dalebrook‘ is a day of exploring food trends and restaurants that an unaccompanied day visitor to London may overlook and miss out on.
Starting at our Margaret Street Showroom meeting point, we present a quick overview of the UK eating out market and food trends then split up into Foraging groups of up to 6 people and embark in a prearranged tour of our latest culinary finds.
The Foraging tour delegates are accompanied by a guide and receive a bespoke Foraging tour workbook to take notes whist visiting up to 6 venues.
Everybody participating in the Foraging tour are given a role to do such as ‘official group photographer’, whilst other delegates roles look deeper into the ‘Offer’, ‘Substance’, ‘Style’ and ‘Service’ of the venues visited. This way we can cover more information on the premises we visit in a structured format that we can share with everybody at the end of the tour.
Don’t worry the workbook has the restaurants profile and menus already in and guidance of what to look out for. At the end of the tour we meet back at Dalebrook to feed back as a group and pick out the main findings to feature in the completed Foraging with Dalebrook tour handout sent to all delegates.
This has proven to be very successful with our contract catering clients from the UK and further afield. Tours can be customised to meet specific menu or venue types and aims to give a broad outlook on what is happening now.
Foraging events are a full day activity, meeting at Dalebrook at 9:30 with delegates departing around 4pm. Be mindful that you may want a light dinner after a full day of Foraging around the west end! You can also tie in with your team meetings with the use of our showroom meeting facilities.
